My name is Toni Nicholas, and I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Massachusetts.

My previous self-employed effort had much to do with on-line stores and drop-shipping, though I always wanted to get into real estate... God knows why! ...Ok, so I enjoy it.

Anyway, seeing that I took a good year to learn html code and search engine optimization techniques, I have built numerous sites for myself as well as friends and business associates. The reason why I learned was mainly because a "professional web-designer" wanted to charge me $10,000.00 to $15,000.00 for a web-site! And, for one that included a shopping cart, he wanted $40,000.00! ...I respectfully declined... and then I decided to learn it myself. Consequently, I have been building web sites for about four or so years now.

Mind you, I do not build super fancy sites with super fancy graphics that move all around complete with bells and whistles. I build very effective sites that will get you noticed, will get you in the search engines, and will generate natural traffic. In fact, the major search engines don't like all those fancy graphics flashing at you! An effective, well written site will move up in the search engines and give you a good placement using good key words and relevant text. The rest is up to you in the way of advertising your site both in print or pay-per-click advertising. And, you may also want to learn about linking techniques while you're at it. On-going linking efforts also helps your search engine standings.

These are things you may learn all in good time. For now, you have found the solution to your problem and, more importantly, you can control it. You should never allow any web guru to literally hold the keys to your domain, or worse, hold it hostage! Once you own your own domain, you CAN and SHOULD control who gets what information, and that... to quote Martha herself, "is a wonderful thing!"

Seeing that I am a Full-time Real Estate Broker, I often use templates to build sites. These are pre-designed code, and using them saves both time as well as keeping my labor costs low so that I can offer a variety of these sites to my real estate colleagues who just don't want to be ripped off anymore. Case closed.
